Off course we can tell you we organise great and wonderful safaris and that our clients had fantastic times, but it says more when you hear their comments direct. Here you go!

Amazing Honeymoon in South Africa

image002“Our  honeymoon was amazing, I can't think if any lowlights what so ever. All the accommodations were ideal, and all the flights and picks up were on time. We truly had a great time and didn't want the holiday to end. There were so many highlights I can't pick just one. Thank you so much for selecting such great places. I took almost 900 pictures and I'm having a hard time deleting any!”

Great! The experience will last in our memories!

Looking back at a sublime holiday in Kenya, you can only say that it highly surpassed our expectations. The variety of the landscapes and housing in Lewa, Saruni Samburu and Cottar's Camp was great, but each one of them had it's own charms.

Lovely inhabitants and hosts made everything all the more magnificent. These leopard lyingdifferent surroundings also provided a variety of animals. We have really seen all that could be seen! (Elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetas, buffalo, hippo's, crocodils, monkeys, gazelles, very many birds etc). You name it, we've seen it! Marvellous!

The initial anxiety that I felt towards the wild animals was completely taken away by the expert explanations of the guides that took us out on safaris.

Three more words: well prepared trip. Great! The experience will last in our memories!

Thanks so much,

Ilse and Jaap Lagerweij

Sri Lanka - a wonderful time

We traveled with Wild Times through Sri Lanka. A local guide and driver took us in four days to Sri_Lanka_Ele_-_lr some of the highlights: beautiful temples, buddha statues, a rock palace and an ancient city. He told us more than we could ask and was very attentive. Very impressive was the yearly elephant-procession in Kandy. Buddhists and Hindi together, dancing to the elephants who were beautifully dressed and lit. The accomodation was very pleasant. We had a wonderful time.

Family safari instead of skiing - Tanzania February 2011

Dear Karin,

Thank you for arranging this safari in Tanzania on such a short notice (only two weeks before tanzania-zebradeparture).  The program you made was  very diverse with stunning places.  Also the right balance for our family with three kids (12, 10, 9). Pure wildlife in beautiful places like Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Twice we had a lovely pool at our lodge after a long hot day in the Landcruiser in the middle of the wilderness. What a joy that was!  We also made a bicycle tour through a village, down a very steep mountain up to a lake between the wild animals.

One of the highlights was a two night stay at the Rothia Valley lodge where our kids played football  till dark with the kids of an orphanage run by a very kind Dutch lady.

February is the time of the migration in the southern Serengeti so we saw thousands of new born zebra's and wildebeasts. It was overwhelming. We drove a few hundred km's fthrough the Serengeti.

We recommend Wild Times Safari to everyone.

Thank you, and best regards,

Karen Soetens and family

Repeaters - Photographers - Kenya January 2011

Dear Karin,

We had a really incredible time, thank you SO much for arranging everything! It was so great to only stay in two places this time, it made such a difference to have more time to spend with the animals instead of in transit, and it was nice to get to know the camp staff better too. The guides at Porini are really fantastic and fun to chat too as well. We had some incredible days with big cats,mara-migration-giraffes-special-offer both in the conservancy and in the mara. We saw so many hunts, especially from the cheetahs. We also had incredible sightings of 4 different leopards, in fact one of them even mock-charged our vehicle - a very shy one in the Mara Triangle. We saw a serval cat too, in the Mara, though we were slightly distracted by a nearby kill from some lions so we didn't stay with the serval long. Incredibly we watched the lions feast on the warthog - while it was still alive! Enkipai was also really nice, we had some great conversations with George, he sends his love to you. And the food at Enkipai - WOW! never tasted food like it, so good, but so much of it too! The staff were really excellent there and we had a lot of laughs too. It was a really perfect trip, loved every minute! I already shared some photos on Facebook...and I just posted a blog today. There is more coming...we have some amazing videos from this trip too!!! :)

Hope to see you soon..

Best wishes,
Natalie

Fantastische familie vakantie

CamelSaf1

Lieve Karin,

Family Holiday in India

TajMahal1Karin has organised a fantastic family-trip (consisting of 17 people) for us. We enjoyed every minutes of it! The trip was a perfect mix of Indian culture, maximum comfort and beautiful nature. We loved the fact that everything was taken care of; every transfer, all the delicious meals and many experienced guides. This made it possible for us to travel and relax with such a big group and experience India in the best possible way. Karin fulfilled all our expectations and more!

Our Tanzanian Dream

tanzania-pardoenJuly 2010: Arusha - Lake Manyara - Rhotia Valley – Ngorongoro – Ndutu – Serengeti – Selous - Zanzibar

We have had a superb Tanzania Safari during our 3 weeks stay. For us Tanzania was a fantastic place for exciting Wildlife Safari . The Tented Camps, Lodges and drives you have arranged were absolutely great. The diversity of colors and flavors, beautiful views and landscapes, so many different animals around us every day! and always friendly people, made it more than worthwhile. Our personal driver (Felix) was a professional and a super guy. It was really an ongoing dream!

If someone ever likes to go on a Safari, I would like to recommend them WildTimes to organize their stay!

We have enjoyed it so much, thank you Karin!

More than expected - anniversary in Kenya

Goedbloed-familyI had very specific wishes about my family safari. This safari holiday should offer above all plenty of “first times” for my grandchildren; first time Africa, first time equator, first time animals in the wild, first time Indian Ocean. Memories, experiences, family bonding related to me as the person I am and also to the mother and grandmother I am, set in this point of time in which I celebrated my pass-over into my next decennium. After checking on several other safari travel organizations it was Karin of Wild Times Africa who understood exactly what I had in mind. It “clicked”. The communication and follow-up in the planning was dynamic and to the point. Her experience as a mother with small children in Kenya also helped to advise a perfect mix of locations that satisfied all ages. My 13 grandchildren ranging in age from four to fifteen as well as my four children and their spouses fell from one ‘awe’ into the other. The various camp locations were intimately small scale and extremely comfortable, the sequence of these locations was perfect and culminated in the exclusive and reclusive Delta Dunes. It was all as I had wished it to be. The organisation was flawless. I am very glad that I chose Wild Times Safaris to realize this special event.

A dream come true - Tanzania

A LUXURY FAMILY SAFARI WITH GROWN UP CHILDREN

Karin Bloem from Wild Times safari arranged our Tanzania safari holiday Christmas 2009. We didn't use this agency before, so we didn't know what to expect. Now that we are back home, I can say we had the most wonderful holiday of our life!
Everywhere we landed, there were the nicest people to pick us up and drive us to our lodge. We started in Lemala Camp on the rim of the Ngorong Crater, where the tents were fantastic, the food delicious and the game drives in the crater overwhelming. We then moved to Kleins Camp in the Serengeti, we stayed in small round white houses with a stunning few, had the best Christmas ever, we saw herds of 24 lions and over 40 elephants, danced with the Masai people and had a wonderful diner. Our last lodge was Faru Faru which was really overwhelming, the best of everything, nature, view, outdoor shower, food, outstanding guides and lots of animals...
It was more than a dream come true and we are so glad we choose Wild Times Safaris , we didn't have to think of anything, because it was all arranged so well ! Thank you again Karin, it was even better than we hoped for. Best wishes, van Santen Family

A wonderful experience - Kenya

A FAMILY SAFARI WITH SMALL CHILDREN

Some people told us that you would get bored if you did more than a week of safari. We went to three different parks and the coast in three weeks and have not been bored or tired of it even for one minute! Thanks to a very well-balanced and well-organised programme that gave us a chance to see very different parts of Kenya, different animals, different tribes, different lodges and (admittedly very luxurious) tents. Picnics by a river where elephants were having a bath. Night- safaris where you see hundreds of little eyes lighting up..looking at you.

A walk up a mountain (well..ok: a hill) to enjoy a view that has been untouched by the last centuries. Visits to small villages where the small children started crying (never seen a white person!) or wanted to touch your skin and the elders proudly showed their homes and cattle. But also lunch by the swimming pool or sundowners by the fire and relaxed dinners of high standards, the kids sometimes being carried to their beds by beautiful Samburu warriors because they fell asleep after dessert.

A wonderful experience that neither we nor the kids will ever forget.

A BUSINESS EVENT FOR 300 BANK MANAGERS

First of all many (belated) thanks to you for helping us organise the Oracle event in Kenya. It’s been an extremely challenging event but we've had nothing but compliments despite the challenges we faced. I'd like to say a big thank you to both of you for the assistance that you gave us -- but more than that the thought and care you both put into the preparations did not go unnoticed.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was really very supportive. Thank you for the thought you put into the event -- the evening functions were magical. Also your support and professionalism were much appreciated.
I am sure we will work together again in the future.

Kind regards,

The vacation of a lifetime! Exceeded our wildest dreams - Kenya

A PHOTGRAPHIC LUXURY SAFARI

Dear Karin,

Cate and I want to thank you for making the vacation of a lifetime exceed our wildest dreams. From the time we connected in lion3  Nairobi until the time we left, our experience was exceptional. All of our needs at every camp were not only met but were taken care of with first-class quality, attention, and service.

Each leg of our journey through Kenya seemed like it could not be surpassed, yet with every new camp we went to, the new adventure exceeded our previous one. Each new day just kept bringing on new fantastic experiences. Needless to say, this is a result of the itinerary you established for us.

Our drivers and spotters seemed to be a perfect match for us. Their expertise in meeting my photography needs was truly amazing. Cate and I are so grateful for your incredible ability to put together exactly what we wanted in a photo safari and exceed our expectations at every level. From the time we landed in Nairobi we felt totally comfortable and pampered at every turn.

Of course when we return to Africa, as we will, without question you will be our choice for creating another unforgettable African experience.

Wishing you all the best,
Ron and Cate Rice, USA

Fantastic memories - Kenya

“Dear Karin and the Wild Times team,
Thank you ever so much for arranging our Safari. We have so many fantastic memories and a very large number of photos! From the moment we arrived in Nairobi to when we went back to the airport, everything was managed / timed to perfection.'

In the past we have been able to visit many countries around the world but the Wild Times Safari in Kenya was, without question, the best vacation we have had. From the Balloon trip over the Masi Mara to the Bush BBQ in the Samburu hills. From the Hippo breakfast to the Game walk with the Giraffe, everything was perfect.

Thank you very much for all the effort you put in to making this a wonderful experience. Please pass on out thanks to the Wild Times team.”

Just Excellent! - Family with five children in Kenya

Our safari in the Masai Mara organized by Wild Times was just excellent! For our family with 5 kids (ages 3-12),

Wild Times had just recommended the right camps and places. We had the perfect combination of game drives and kid’s activities. Especially the activities like bow and arrow making, butterfly catching and footprint finding were very exciting for the kids.

And, off-course having the swimming pool in the camp was great too! We will surely come back and do another safari organized by Wild Times!

I will be back!!! - 12 Ladies in Kenya

I feel I’m going to sound repetitive – but what else can one say after a safari with Wild Times? It’s just all so true....... Unbelievable, I never thought I would have that urge to get back there right away with my loved ones, to show them all the beauty Kenya holds (and I too have seen my share of beautiful places in this world...).

The colours, the smells, the animals, the people, just everything is perfect. And, if you let Wild Times take you, every little detail will be looked after, and I mean every! We spent 8 fantastic days in 3 amazing places with 12 demanding ladies and you would probably get exhausted only by starting to think about everything that needed to be arranged....but Karin just did it! In perfect dosage, sequence and always with that smile that says, I’ll handle it– and so she does... Thanks so much for an unforgettable journey into the wonders of Africa – I will be back!!!

The best holiday our family has ever had - Kenya

TWO FAMILIES ON SAFARI WITH SIX CHILDREN (6 - 12 YEAR)

Dear Karin

We have just got back and reality is slowly seeping back in. We are no longer in paradise and in the good hands of Wild Times. We have had the most wonderful time and this has définitely been the best and most adventurous holiday we have ever had. The children are exhausted but thrilled, are still talking rhinos, lions, baboons, cheetahs, and of course dung beetles. We had all been looking forward so much to this trip but you have managed to beat our expectations.

The lodges were great, in particular Lewa and Little Governors and you seemed to have thought of absolutely everything. Although we were not sure about the stay on the coast, Lamu/ Shela it was exactly as you described. Lamu is an excellent place for rest and relaxation, great food and lots of water sports and not a tourist in sight. Karin, thank you once again for taking such good care of us, these have been the best three weeks holidays our family has ever had.

lots of love,

Caroline Westerink ~ The Netherlands

True magic and wonder - Kenya

“My wife and I recently had an opportunity to travel in Kenya. We have covered most of the globe in the past 20 years with a mixture of business and vacation. We have been to Kenya some years ago and were keen to try something different.

We selected Wild Times because it offered us the widest possible choice mixed with real experience of Kenya, its people and wild life. From the moment Karin Schepers discussed our requirements to the very sad day we arrived back at home, the quality of service and the experiences provided were better than First Class.

If you have seen the Barrier Reef from the deck of a tall ship or the Grand Canyon from a helicopter or dined on your own yacht at sun set on the Nile, a Wild Times Safari will make them seem mundane. The secret to the perfect break is attention to detail and with Wild Times you can be sure that everything will be taken care of.

The quality of accommodation was of a standard not normally achieved in the top hotels in Europe, but you could look out from the balcony and see Elephant grazing or Lions stalking their prey. From the Serena Hotel Masi Mara with the open planes and big game drives to the secluded hills of Ol Malo with the exclusive and personnel feel of the home of a good friend, everything was perfect.

Seeing the big game from a hot air balloon in the Masi Mara was going to be difficult to beat but walking through the bush with the Giraffe at Ol Malo was a truly moving experience. If you want to see Kenya, both as a Safari destination and as a place of true magic and wonder, I can not recommend Wild Times enough as the team to help you.”

A perfect family holiday - Kenya

Dear Karin,

We would like to thank you for organizing a perfect family holiday in Kenya. It seemed extremely cramped to come for little over a week, but your meticulous planning made us loose no time in travel and feel like we had be gone for a month. From the intimacy of the Samburu to the overwhelming abundance of wildlife in the Masai Mara and the utter relaxation at Driftwood, we enjoyed it all.

Our three children (age 7-10) still sing their Swahili song and keep drawing giraffes, zebra's and lions whenever they can. Kenya made a lasting impression on all of us, thanks to a well planned and balanced itinery, even for a bit over a week!
